Descendent of an adoptee

My GGGrandfather was adopted by a Canadian when he was a minor (when he married my GGGrandfather's mother). As the descendent of my GGGrandfather, am I eligible? And would I use CIT0001? I've read through the various docs and FAQ but still not clear to me. Thank you!
