Got lucky and pulled Doot - only pet I'm missing is rift slug. Should I start pulling on other banners?

As title says, I bought the Santa's helper pack since I heard it was pretty good. The free green gems I got managed to bring home a Doot. Now the question is that the only pet I'm missing from the legacy banner is rift slug. Assuming it's not worth to keep pulling on it in the future, and should switch to the shallow waters banner?
