Pasties/nipple covers to night wean?

Anybody tried this?

I’m hoping for some direct links to buy some and try night weaning.

I’ve heard nipple covers help the baby see that nursing isn’t available rather than mom just refusing it?

(My baby is almost 14 months old and has always woken up many many times every night and only nurses to sleep. I am very scared to night wean as he gets so upset when he doesn’t immediately have the boob but I am finally hitting a danger zone with my sleep deprivation.

We are in a one bedroom for now so we will still be sleeping together! )
