Seattle U vs Oregon

Advice?

Hey all! As deposit deadlines approach, I’m having a really tough time deciding on Seattle U vs Oregon. I went to Oregon’s admitted students day and honestly had a great time & impression. Faculty seemed solid and I do believe I’d get a very solid education / prep for the bar if I attend Oregon.

All that said, Eugene didn’t seem like a great fit for me location wise. I’m a sucker for a larger city. I really can’t see myself living there for the rest of my life an although I’ve never been to Portland, I have concerns that I would feel similarly.

My goals are mid law (I understand big law is near impossible from either, but that would ofc be a dream outcome). IP / privacy are areas that are of particular interest + I’d love to end up in Seattle or LA.

I’ve got about $$ to both schools and am extremely blessed to not have to be overly concerned about the debt I’ll be taking on.

Admittedly, I feel drawn to Seattle but am concerned about the disparity in ranking or perception. Not that either are “well ranked”. I understand it really gets really regional at this tier of ranking.

Any insight on either schools would be INCREDIBLY appreciated. If anything, Im looking to be encouraged about Seattle but Oregon is still very much an option in my eyes.

My thanks in advance & best of luck to anyone else getting ready to make a decision!!
