Bible Chase?

I had a random memory of a Mormon competition that would happen semi-frequently that was called a "Bible Chase" where a moderator would have a trivia question about the scriptures, and whoever could find it first would be the winner.

We used to mark with red pencil, or highlighter markers certain pages and passages for an advantage. We would even crinkle, then straighten certain pages to have an advantage of finding the right verse.

Was this common in other LDS churches?
