Breastfeeding and FET

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant with my first FET. Given my age (41 in July) I spoke to my midwife at my OBs office about timeframes for a next transfer after this baby is born. My clinic said I can begin 6 months post birth (as long as it’s vaginal and I stopped BF). I BF my first for 22 months and although I do not plan to BF that long at all but also wanting to get the ball rolling sooner rather than later I asked my midwife about weaning and she told me it was not necessary. I do plan to stop at a year this time but I wanted to see if ANYONE didn’t stop but still transferred and successfully. I’m more curious than anything because we never know what’s ahead.
