F18 - I want to pursue older men, but it would never work

i finally turned 18 and i’m so ready to start exploring older men. unfortunately, there are two major problems that overthrow the entire thing.

1. my friends and family would never approve of it. because they care about me and wouldn’t want me getting taken advantage of, i don’t think they’d ever be able to look past it.

2. most guys who are interested in freshly 18 year olds probably aren’t in it for the right reason. i fear that some of them would only get with an 18 year old just because it’s the youngest legal age they can get away with.

this genuinely affects me because i just don’t feel attracted to guys my age. btw by older, i don’t mean by a few years — i mean middle aged (30s-50s). i’ve always always found older men more attractive. i don’t know what to do.
