This is Ollie, he was surrendered to a local shelter after an elderly woman determined she could no longer properly care for him.

We assume he was hers as a kitten until being surrendered, and he is a definitive VELCRO CAT. He’s about 4 years old but very sassy and full of attitude when you don’t let him lay on you when the lap is fully available. Also really does not take no as an answer, so he will just keep coming back again, and again, and again, and again, and again… you get the gist of it I assume.

My boyfriend saw him one day at the Petsmart in town, and would not stop talking about him afterwards. I already knew what that meant… and he had his new forever home the next day bright and early.

We have 3 rescue cats, one who was (supposedly) a street cat, and another from a hoarder home, and Ollie is by far the biggest cuddle bug we have (and that’s including 2 dogs). The previous owner did declaw him, and while I would never do it to any of my own cats and actively detest it, this sure does make him beyond cuddly.

Also, do we hedge our bets on a Siberian or just a domestic medium hair mix? I’ve never seen one like him before, and our other boys are far more generic looking. Not to be rude to them or anything….

SO affectionate!
