Why does Reddit literally force content on you?

I’ve been muting a lot of main subs because I’m honestly just sick of the p*olitical bullshit.

Every time I mute a sub, some random ass niche sub pops up in its place on my feed. And the random ass sub is literally just an aggregate of the same bullshit I muted the other sub over.

I currently have like 10 new subs on my feed that I’ve never visited once that only appeared after muting other subs. Why?
