Eraser keeps losing the task list.

Whenever I restart Windows, Eraser forgets the task list and shows this message: "Could not load task list. All task entries have been lost. The error returned was: There is an error in XML document (28, 31)." Is there a way to prevent this or maybe backup the task list?
