Hey guys, looking for some troubleshooting help on my 2018 5.0L Coyote. I'm getting a cluster of codes all centered on the driver-side (Bank 2) camshaft sensors:

• P0345/P0349 (Intake Cam Sensor)

• P0390/P0394 (Exhaust Cam Sensor)

Since it’s hitting both intake and exhaust on the same bank, I’m doubting it’s just a sensor. The truck is giving me worse mpg and has 67,000miles

Things I've heard/checked:

1. Oil: I know the VCT system on the 5.0 is incredibly picky about oil.I’m currently running required oem oil and only have owned the truck for about 5,000miles. Oil level is 34%

2. VCT Solenoids: I’ve heard these can get gummed up or fail, causing the timing to lag and trip these circuit codes.

3. Alternator/Battery: I've read some weird threads saying a failing alternator diode can cause "RF interference" that trips these specific cam codes on the 5.0. Has anyone actually seen that happen?

Question: Before I go tearing into the valve covers to swap VCT solenoids or checking the timing chain tensioners, are there any common wiring rub-through points on Bank 2 for the 2018s? Or should I try an oil flush/change first?

Thanks for any help!
