Please share your favorite chonky sneakers

I know chonky sneakers had a big moment a few years ago, and maybe that moment has passed… but I’m still fully in denial about it. They might be my favorite fashion invention ever. Something about stompy shoes just makes outfits feel better, imo. Right now my favorites are Vetements New Rock platform sneakers. They’re ridiculously chunky in the best way possible. Totally over the top, but that’s part of the fun. I also have a pair of Adidas Bold Gazelles that I bought because the original Gazelles were always one of my favorite sneakers growing up. The bold version keeps that classic look but makes it chunkier. They’re also super comfortable. Another pair I wear a lot are the Reebok Club C Extra. They’re a little clompy but they have that clean sneaker vibe that works really well with light wash jeans.

Other recent additions are Stomp 08s from Demonia and I also found a surprisingly good everyday pair with the Steve Madden Stadium sneakers, which are basically a Courtney-style dupe. I’ve been abusing these waay too much. While browsing sneaker designs online I even noticed a lot of chunky sneaker styles and molds popping up in footwear listings, which made me realize how many variations of this trend exist. Now I’m curious what everyone’s favorite chunky sneakers are.
