Continuity Error???

So I was watching “The Good, the bat and the Fabulous” and they were talking about vampires and Drac said “Oh yeah I’m old enough to transform” after the ghouls were reading about bats and she couldn’t transform so I was like “huhhh??” Considering later in FAC we learned that you have to earn your bat powers so I was wondering did they like change the lore or smth?
