Trying to Decide Between Quinnipiac Online MSW and Going Back to Boston College – Advice?

Hey everyone,

I got into Quinnipiac’s online part time MSW program, but I’m also thinking about going back to Boston College because I really want to finish faster. At Quinnipiac, the timeline stretches to 2029, which feels way too long. At BC, I could realistically finish in about a year, though it would need board approval.

For some context, I had to take a medical leave from BC because of epilepsy. My main concern now is whether it’s worth it to chase the BC name and finish quickly, or if it’s better to go with Quinnipiac’s online program—especially since stress can trigger my epilepsy. I’m also not sure how many classes I’d be taking at BC if I aim to graduate in 2027.

Does anyone have experience with Quinnipiac’s online MSW program or know about its reputation? Any advice on this situation would be great! ❤️☺️
