Blink Twice

Goddamn … what a great fucking movie. Wasn’t sure I was going to like it because of the obvious parallels to Epstein Island, but this movie delivered. Hard to believe it’s Zoë Kravitz directorial debut. Absolutely strong, strong storytelling. The ending was just the chefs kiss. Perfect. Really reminded me of the delicious irony in old EC horror comics. Channing Tatum is pure evil and it’s equally matched by Naomi Ackie’s sweet revenge. When you realize that Slater King invited her back to the island because she provided him with unmatched tension you see the truly horrific depravity of his intentions. Best movie I’ve seen so far in 2026.
