Scheduling Transfer

Hi all this is transfer 5 for me.

I’m a bit confused as the clinic called me on Thursday the 12th and told me my blood result show that I should have the transfer on the 19th. Well today is the 13th and I have only just gotten a positive opk today at home. They had told me to start progesterone today. But now I feel I should wait until tomorrow and the transfer should be on the 20th (5dpo)…. Right? Should I insist on pushing it to the 20th? Or leave it on the 19th.

Another factor is I have a work trip on the 18th-19th returning 20th (ofc I’m going to do whatever is best for the embryo) so if it is better for the embryo anyways to transfer 5dpo, then why not do it and still be able to do the trip? And also should I be concerned that my clinic relays on a blood test so many days away from the transfer day?

Should I insist on having the transfer 5dpo and have a blood retest on the 16th? I just don’t wanna come off as too difficult.

And can someone correct me if I’m wrong- today is the 14th. I got a positive test, meaning I’ll more than likely ovulate late tonight or on the 15th, making the 16th 1dpo, 17th 2dpo, 18th 3dpo, 19th 4dpo, 20th 5dpo…?
