Applying to child's first British passport.

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice about documents required in applying for a first British passport on behalf of my son.

I've tried looking on the .gov website (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/overseas-passport-supporting-documents-group-2/applying-for-a-passport-from-outside-the-uk-supporting-documents-group-2-accessible) and it seems as clear as mud as to what exactly is required.

He's British by descent with no previous passport, a British father and Chinese mother. I've managed to ascertain that we need:

1. Application form
2. Two passport photos
3. Child’s birth certificate (with translation)
4. My British passport
5. My UK birth certificate
6. Marriage certificate (translated)

Is there anything else that is explicitly needed for submitting?
