How does serie cope with lost and grief?

Since serie lived thousands of years how does she cope when her students will be pretty much die due to shorter lifespans and i think her mindset is that she wanted the students to surpass their master.

Although every apprentice's death probably affected her significantly as she loves and values them all the same. She also remembers her each of her students favorite spells and personality which probably broke her more on the inside. So I wonder how does she cope?
