How to add shade to the backyard

As you can see, the sun would hit the entire backyard all afternoon. How can I add some shade here?

I was thinking on buying some concrete and pour ir into a 5 galon bucket as an anchor and add a tall pole with a hook and add some sort of sun shade.

I cannot add pictures unfortunately
