What exactly are the rules regarding setup-token?

I'm trying to set up some simple automations that run continuously on trigger.dev, and wondering if I can use a setup-token from my Max subscription, or if that'll get me in trouble? Haven't been able to quite get a bearing on what the exact rules are.
