Clarification on Typhon

So, Typhon's character file from episode 81 states her shapeshifting domain is "Mollusks and Crustaceans." Later on, in the comment section of episode 127, the authors further confirm that "Typhon was limited to mollusc and crustacean forms." when asked why Typhon was considered a level-4 chimera and not a level-5.

However, during the fight with Kagan, she grew sea urchin spines on her tentacles. John states here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/UrbanAnimal/comments/jtufhr/comment/gc850ox/?context=3] that Typhon did grow urchin spines, so it's not some crustacean protrusions.

Is she not actually limited to Mollusks and Crustaceans but also have access to Echinoderms?
