[MAC] [Early 2000s] 2D Platformer with a Tech Theme

I've been working with Google, and using AI to see if I can find this game, since usually it's enough to get me to the answer. When I decided to finally just make a post here, I had it put down everything is asked about in the correct format.

I have read through it and changed a few things to be more clear and accurate to what I remember, and I'll be adding more at the bottom.

Platform(s): Mac OS. I have no idea which OS, but it was in use at my elementary school in the early 2000s-2010s.

Genre: 2D side-scrolling platformer It was not isometric, it was like early Mario games, where you see everything from the side, and it moves roughly with your character. A lot more vertical, if I remember correctly.

Estimated year of release: Early 2000s – Early 2010s The same computer had Kid Pix Delexe 3 installed on it. (The one with the 3D menus and such released in 2000.) The game I remember fits very well alongside that era of Faux 3D, or early 3D models. Well beyond pixilated graphics. Speaking of...

Graphics/art style: 2D with pre-rendered 3D character sprites (that distinctive "flattened low-res 3D model" look). Not pixel art. Backgrounds were simple—possibly just a static image or very basic skybox. It really looks like all standard early 3D edutainment looked.

I'm not sure it was 3D models, but that's what I remember it looking like.

Notable characters: A humanoid protagonist (possibly but not definitely a robot). No dialogue or character interactions that I can remember. No main villain either, I think.

Notable gameplay mechanics: Pure platforming with no combat—at most, you could jump on enemies to defeat them sometimes. Enemies were simple (just moving back and forth). The core gameplay involved climbing really high up a single continuous stage (or at least a level that felt very vertical) and collecting items that looked like "chips or orbs." No weapons, no magic, no story to speak of. No puzzling, or keys, or anything that required backtracking. Just straight up making the jumps, and moving on. Very linear. Maybe there were points or something, but I do not remember getting a high score or anything.

Other details:

· Played on a school computer alongside Kid Pix and likely other edutainment titles · Very minimal—no world-building, no cutscenes, no dialogue · Felt like a short game, possibly even just one large level · The "climb really high" memory is very strong

· Not Bugdom, not Otto Matic, not Seiklus, not M&M's The Lost Formulas, not Thinkin' Things, not Abe's Amazing Adventure, not Nanosaurs

From looking at all the titles above...it's not pixelated like Seiklus, but it certainly wasn't open world or exploration based, beyond just moving forward/up. I don't remember finding any secrets, and you never ever needed to backtrack or anything.

The gameplay was not tight/fast. If I'm remembering correctly, you didn't have a ton of air control? It wasn't a game that required twitchy reflexes or speed really.

Feel free to ask me anything, I can't stop thinking about this game!
