Good day to be alive

RANT/VENT 😤

The delhi rickshaw circuit outside every metro is WEIRD AF. They start howling once they see someone coming in their direction regardless of whether that person wants to get into a rickshaw or not. I mean I get it, what else can they do, they are circumscribed to such situations, it's their daily survival.

BUT

THERE IS A WAY TO GO WITH THINGS, IF YOU WANNA ASK SOMEONE WHETHER THEY WANT A RICKSHAW OR NOT DO IT POLITELY PLEASE!? WHAT IS THIS LOWKEY CATCALLING SITUATION HAPPENING IN THE NAME OF GETTING A PASSENGER?!?

ALSO

why do they pat the seats of their FUCKING SEATS so hard once they know a girl/women is coming to sit in their rickshaw? like hello brother, that is so fucking creepy. Tapping the seat of their rickshaw very strongly as if asserting dominance, that this GIRL is going to SIT IN MY RICKSHAW.

and I have never seen them do such a shit thing with men. why only when a girl/women is going to sit inside their rickshaw?

Apart from the rant, going back to the title

after getting off at the metro, 100 m away from the rickshaws- all the rickshaw fighting for the passenger, i signalled at one of the bhaiyas that I'll go the xyz place dur se and he said aa jao and tapped on the fucking seat with such a disgusting look on his face argh

GOOD DAY TO BE ALIVE BECAUSE I passed from his side and went to a decent uncle's rickshaw. ON HIS FACE. such a nasty mf, the look on his face was so so so so disgusting.

but for the very first time I didn't sit inside the rickshaw of a mf who did the disgusting pat thing. He was so fucking confused when I didn't sit in his rickshaw.

argh, why is it so stressful to be a women in this country
