P Plate Exemption
I’m working on an 1991 mr2 which I’m turning back to stock from a v6 swap and have been struggling to work around the spotty and inconsistent availability and pricing of the engines from that generatio. I’ve noticed the turbos are way easier to get and are more reasonably priced so I‘m leaning towards doing that and getting a hardship exemption as I’m currently borrowing my dads old work ute thats completely under his name but don’t have an actual car of my own. Im planning on applying for a hardship exemption once I get it road worthy as I’m regional but travel a bit over an hour to Melbourne for work and I’m just curious as to where I can use the car. Is it just something where I can only use the car to travel to and from work without a fully licensed driver with me? Im still good with that as I have people I can drive with when it’s on my own time but are there other times I could use it?
