Breach of Privacy

Can anyone tell me where to go from here?

Found out my child’s privacy was breached when a parent contacted me after the principal at that school named my child’s full name, school they attend and information that’s not true (otherwise it would be a police matter) I had sent that principal an email stating what happened, of course they wanted to call and speak to me right away, Which I declined as I don’t think it’s a good idea! The principal also in between called another person of authority, which than called me ( I didn’t know who it was and I never gave my number to the principal) so I answered, this person confirmed that my child’s privacy has been violated.
