Ordering in CardHobby

Im ordering on CardHobby for the first time ever and I have a couple questions. I know people recommend to purchase a couple cards before shipping them that way you make the high shipping fee worth it. Now, I’ve seen some people say that the amount that been paying for tariffs is insane, although not all people seem to have this same problem. Are the tariffs really that bad? If so, is there anything I could do to make them cheaper. Also, I’ve seen people saying that It took them months to get the cards and some other people get them in a week or two, so what’s the current situation with shipping time? By the way I live in the US.
