My new cat is in the couch should I be worried?

Advice

Hi everyone, I got a cat yesterday and thought the living room was the best room to keep her as my other rooms have some outside noice and the living room doesn't. The cat in question is a 6 year old who moved for the second time in a very short time. She was rescued and then kept in another home for a week and has now moved to me. When she arrived she started hiding immediately but then I lost her (did not see her move). I am pretty sure she is under the couch as it's the only thing in the living room she can hide under (no open windows or doors). This night she did eat some treats I left out but she didn't eat any of her food. Should I be worried? I am a bit afraid that it's dangerous for her to be in the couch but getting her out would terrify her so I am not too keen on that idea either...
