Difficulty with linking Activision and Google accounts

Hi guys. This is my first post on this subreddit and it's because I've been facing a problem with my account.

So I usually use the Google login option for my codm account. It has all my mythic skins and stuff.Recently I thought to link my account to an Activision id.I made an Activision account using my same gmail but this time it asked me to create a completely new account. And now I'm stuck with two different accounts. My main one I can still access through Gmail but for some reason even when I use the same gmail id when I login to Activision it's some completely new account.

So my question is this. Is there any way I can remove this new account from my activision and my gmail ? I would really like to access my main account through Activision instead.Any advice or guidance would be deeply appreciated.
