Are nose piercings common amongst Muslims?

I’ve had my nose pierced for a while and I saw how some people say it isn’t allowed but I’ve seen so many women have their nose pierced but I randomly got the worry that is it not allowed or something? Or is it just a debate on whether it’s okay? I think I’m overthinking.
