In my experience I rarely meet women interested in business. Is this just my environment?

I’ve noticed something in my personal environment and I’m curious about other perspectives.

Most women I meet around me seem to prefer jobs, government exams, or being a homemaker. I rarely meet women who want to start or run a business. Because of this, I’ve always thought that if I ever enter a relationship, I would prefer someone who is also interested in business so we could grow and build something together.

However, I’m starting to wonder if this is just because of the environment I’m in. Even when I attend business workshops or events, I usually see far fewer women there.

So I wanted to ask: Is this just my limited experience, or are there other reasons why fewer women appear in business spaces in some places?
