Dogs

Let me go ahead and alienate everyone, but I’m not a “dog person”. I don’t hate them, and partially think it’s because no dog could compare to my childhood cocker spaniel, Buffy (RIP).

But while I’m fairly new with Flex, I’d had zero issues, until today. Today I used the box I was delivering to keep a dog from biting me. The dog hadn’t made its presence known until I was half way to the front porch. It came around from behind this house, saw me, and preceded towards me with bad intentions. I tried backing away slowly, but the dog was running…not slowly. When I determined it wasn’t a false charge and it was actually going to bite my leg, I thrust the (M) package into its snout, as I continued one of my very best moonwalks. I thwarted three attempts to bite me, before the owner finally heard all the commotion and came out to start yelling at the dog. He apologized with the obligatory “he’s really a good-natured dog, normally”.
