Visa Appointment Slot Scam Through WhatsApp – They Change Your Security Answers and Demand Money (INDIA - US)

I want to warn people about a visa appointment scam happening through WhatsApp groups.

I joined a group through a page that claimed they could book U.S. visa appointment slots. They said they could secure a slot for ₹6000. After agreeing, they asked for another ₹4000.

Before sending the fake confirmation, they changed the security answers on my visa scheduling account, which logged me out. Then they sent a photoshopped confirmation page and fake WhatsApp chats to make it look legitimate.

Important warning:
• Do NOT trust WhatsApp groups offering visa slots
• Do NOT send money unless you receive the official confirmation email from the visa system
• Change your password immediately if you suspect anything suspicious

They also use different UPI IDs for payment.

UPI IDs used:
9378141804@omni – Phool Chand
paytm.s156zax@pty – Nagendra Singh

Phone numbers used:
+1 835 227 3728 – Muhammad Slot F
+1 307 292 4346 – Sai Suchindra
