24 [M4F] We both hate the Corporate Life

Good afternoon,

Being a corporate slave in this economy is incredibly draining. Everyday, emails are waiting to be read and replied to; clock-in / clock-out signals distrust; and meetings are arguably a waste of time.

But we have to keep formalities. We have to keep pretending we know what we’re doing despite not really having an idea. We have to keep going because we cannot survive in this economy alone. And we still do not have the capacity to do what we really want to do.

I hate the corporate life. But I am bound by it.

And I am looking for someone to hate the corporate life as much as I am: who I can rant to about stupid emails, worthless meetings, and pointless formalities.

To get you on the hook, here’s a few details about me:

- 5’9, Moreno, Metro Manila

- Working in finance and in a client facing role

- Forsaken dream: Being a writer (fiction)

- I hate writing emails and am now just responding with “Okay” in threads

- I came from a big 4 university

- As long as it’s not about work, I am not a dry texter

- I have so much corporate frustrations

The main thing I hate: Emails.

Now what I’m looking for:

- Within my age range

- Working in corporate, which industry does not matter

- Hates “synergy” and “actionable items”

- Bonus if you have a toxic boss
