So I posted here a few days ago when I was unexpectedly given a gopher snake. I think it's been going okay so far, I named him Loki. He really enjoys climbing I've noticed, he's been burrowing, he's drinken water, he has hides, heating lamp, he's chill with being handled, though I haven't handled him too much as I just moved him into a new enclosure and I wanted him to be able to have some time to himself to explore

However, the past 2 days he's been hiding under his rock hide for most the day. This is kind of unusual as he's usually quite active. I was getting worried and I moved his rock over to look at him and I think he's shedding? I can't tell exactly but he isn't as vibrant as when I first got him and his eyes seem to have a blue tint to them? He also has been ignoring food I try and give him. I took pictures that I'll be adding

His eyes are a lot more glazed over in real life and my shitty camera didn't capture it well, but I wanted to ask people who have owned snakes longer than me about it. He's my first snake and I've been worrying about every little thing 💀 like that's my little baby

Anyways, is this shedding? Or is it something else? Am I overreacting? Advice perhaps? Sorry that he's kinda balled up in the photos, he got pissed off at me when I moved his rock. Also sorry that my camera quality is blurry

Thank you for any replies, I'm so anxious about his care and I feel like I need to worry about every little thing so I need some reassurance

Is my snake shedding?
