Is it worth it to keep working at the store I work at when I changed my availability yet I haven't been accommodated at all?
I started at the store I work at since middle of January this year.
Nowhere on the job posting did it say the job, overnight processing, was 1 night a week.
I didn't know that UNTIL my direct manager was the one who interviewed me and told me during the interview.
He also told me that the overnight job is really a secondary job for those who already have it.
I got a job offer at the end of this past January to start working at a Costco early in the morning in the produce section.
My start time is 3:30 am and conflicts with me working 2 am at Dicks.
This week, I haven't had a schedule at Dicks at all.
Earlier this week, have been texted by a random employee whom I've NEVER met to come work a 4 hour shift in the shoe department which is the only department I've been stuck in as I've mainly just opened boxes of shoes, back-stocked shoes and have been a shoe runner.
There have been other times in which the HR lady and my direct manager have texted/called me to come to work to only work 4 hour shifts in the shoe department.
I emailed the HR lady from the job about my availability due to working at Costco and have even changed my availability on Workday yet I've been given 2 extra shifts later this month.
The start times conflict with starting my shifts at Costco.
Supposedly I was originally going to have 2 more shifts this month and now I have these new shifts that were added yesterday when I got a notification on my cell phone from Legion app.
I already called out once the whole time I've worked at Dicks and that was the other week.
I've been denied offering my next two shifts and now I have these two extra shifts to end this month.
