How do I make a backup?

How do I make a backup of my world? I play on Android and I dont know how, so if you could give me steps, that would be wonderful. I recently updated my minecraft and I lost all the worlds and now I'm just trying to learn how to save my worlds so it doesn't happen again. Thank you
