Just afraid of something

My girlfriend and I just broke up. We've been together for six years. We used to have good sex; almost every time she reached orgasm, and we tried so many things. But now she has a new boyfriend, and she’s finally had penetrative sex (PIV) with him. She was so happy and told me she made it happen because of me after all these years. But now I’m afraid that she thinks our sex was bad or less important than it is with her new boyfriend. I’m afraid they have a better “connection.” Does PIV give you a deeper connection with your partner? I know she kinda likes PIV. But I hope she still values what we had.
