Delhi stay (I am so confused)

Guys I frequently keep on travelling to Delhi for work but everytime I need to figure out the stay part. Also let’s keep in mind it’s so expensive. Someone help me out with suggesting good places to stay which are cheap also. What about I take up a flat for a month? Ugh. Help!!!
