Am I the jerk for reporting my coworker for faking a disability to get special parking?

My coworker Jennifer (34F) has a handicap parking permit. She parks in the disabled spots right by the entrance while the rest of us park in the regular lot that's a 5 minute walk away.

I never questioned it - lots of disabilities aren't visible. But then I saw Jennifer at the gym last month. She was running on the treadmill, doing box jumps, lifting heavy weights. Full intense workout.

I was confused. I'm not saying disabled people can't exercise but she was doing things that seemed inconsistent with needing handicap parking.

Then at a happy hour Jennifer got drunk and admitted to some coworkers that she "faked a back injury" to get the handicap permit so she'd never have to walk far to the building.

She literally admitted to fraud. Other coworkers laughed like it was clever. I was disgusted.

I reported it to HR and the state DMV. They investigated and turns out her permit was based on false medical documentation. She got the permit revoked and got fired for fraudulent use of disability accommodations.

Now everyone at work hates me. They say I "ruined her life over a parking spot" and that I'm a snitch who cant mind my own business.

Jennifer is telling people I reported her out of jealousy because I "wanted her parking spot." That's not true - I reported fraud that takes resources away from people who actually need them.

Multiple coworkers have stopped talking to me. Someone left a note on my desk calling me a rat.

TL;DR: Coworker faked a disability for parking, admitted it while drunk, I reported her, she got fired, now I'm the office villain.
