Terrible Manager

I’m currently a high school senior and I recently started a part-time job to save up for college. I work in retail so most of the time I’m just in charge of the fitting room and cleaning/putting clothes on the racks. Today, it was me, another part-timer, and a grandmother working. My manager lectured me, saying that she watched the CCTV every morning and that I, along with the other part-timer, are making the most mistakes and we’re putting the clothes in the wrong spot. I never done that. I only put the clothes on the racks after I double check that it’s the same, and if I don’t know, I always ask or leave it for somebody else to do. I never put any clothes randomly.

At first, it was like whatever. But later in my shift, the assistant manager found a shirt in the plus-sized section that was regular-sized. My manager calls me and the other part-timer and starts yelling at us in front of the customers. She’s saying that we work too slow, we’re doing it wrong, and that we’re creating more work for the grandma (the third employee) and how she (the manager) is worried for the grandma’s health. She rants that the grandma has to clean up our mess and yada yada.

Both me and the other part-timer never even touched that shirt. We never even put it there.

Maybe I’m just being too sensitive but I just feel like it’s so unfair. I know how to work, I know how to organize the clothes, and I memorized the layout. But the managers keep dogging on me for not doing this and that (right when I was going to) and they’re yelling at me for something I didn’t do. The misplaced clothes? The customers are the ones putting it in the wrong places.
