My dad told me to get married !

So im 22m from a marwadi family . I have been in relationship with my gf for nearly 5 years now . Mind you i didn't have a proper relationship with anyone even in my own family till 2 years ago , i only talked related to business to my father and thats it .

We are both from same caste . Still my family didn't approve us to be together . It took me 3+ years to convince them and finally they are ok .

Yesterday we ( me and my parents ) were sitting in courtyard and my father(60m) goes plz get married. I want to see u married before i go . ( my dad has medical issues - bp sugar , and right side face slight paralize - doctor said operation is risky so cant do anything about it ) he thinks his time is very less . He said tere didi ki shaadi karadi tere bhai ki karadi ab tu ek bacha he karlena shaadi .

I said kya urgent he abhi time he . He said wohi nai he din din mere pehchan ke logo ko jaate dekh raha hu . I said don't worry nothing will happen to you u still have 30 years left . He laughed and said i wish .

I told my gf all this and she's also in same place as me ( her mother kidney have failed she gets dialysis twice weekly ) . She said it will take time before we can get married . Just praying everything works out . Thanks for listening.
