Project 2025 in 2026 At The IRS. New Leave and Attendance Rules

IRS Taxpayer services here. We just had a Friday meeting letting us know anyone below 20 annual or sick will be getting restricted leave memos. We were also notified that each tardy occurrence results in use of awol and after 3 they give you counseling. Sounds to me like it’s the administration trying to fire more people. Schedule F?! Not sure how all this will shake down but I have a doctor’s appointment and Opening Day game scheduled this month. Other people have things scheduled too like dental surgery. Is your agency starting this too or just Treasury? My gut tells me this is Project 2025 in 2026.
