did maomao love her mother?

In anime..they have shown how maomao criticised her mother for what she did. Idk what was that actually.. did she hate her? But while she was on rooftop with jinshi..she tells him her(maomao's birth) story (indirectly?) and kind of pities her(fengxian)?As long as I can remember 😭 And she was happy that lakan and fengxian are once again together! What was she thinking/feeling about her mother actually?
