Am I wrong to be a little salty that my tutor never unblocked me after a crisis?

So I worked with a new Spanish tutor on Preply for about two months last year and we really seemed to gel very well. He told me he really enjoyed the type of enthusiasm I would bring to each session, and that I really asked some very good questions. So I think we had a very reasonable and professional relationship.

But what happened was last year, my tutor's location was affected by a typhoon and possible flooding in his area, as well as some internet connection issues. He told me that he was fine, that he would simply relocate to a safer location and that we would reschedule my session the following week. Well, after we rescheduled, my tutor showed me a photo of the typhoon. And I noticed a message that said "for personal reasons your tutor can't continue lessons with you" and I could no longer message him.

I understood his situation and let him go for a while. I noticed that the message still hadn't gone away after 2 months, so I just assumed that maybe he's still recovering from the event. But then I went ahead and checked his reviews. I noticed he got some new reviews from students as early as a week ago, and this gives me the impression that he is still teaching. This really shocked me because I thought the reason I couldn't message my tutor was because of the typhoon.

I am already starting to move on and interested in this other tutor that also teaches Spanish. But am I wrong to be upset that I can't contact my original tutor? I don't believe I was pushy. All I can think was maybe they were worried I would leave a bad review, which I wouldn't have.

TL;DR My tutor had a crisis, and couldn't teach, and blocked me, but it seems they're still active, which makes me sad, because I did genuinely like this tutor and wanted to continue working with them.
