Meaning of my name (Unconventional Name)
What would a day look like in your life in 2045? (Took that to mean my long-term career goals, be my own boss type answer)
Asked whether I won't sit for placement given my previous answer, but I differentiated between my short, mid-term and long-term goals.
How would you justify to a placement company to hire you given your background (took to mean my Strengths and answered and also mentioned my STEM background, research background and blah blah)
Since I mentioned STEM, there was some weird ahh question about nuclear reaction and conservation of mass, and that segued to waste loss and their insistence that weight loss fat to energy was nuclear, which I disagreed with.
AI disruption in the medical field question, to which I answered about my work, my opinions on the same, mentioned HIPAA and DPDP, ethics, some famous AI medical companies, mentioned I was involved in an India AI side event and was also in a roundtable as a discussant under India AI for AI in Medical Education, repeated my points from them. Mentioned all the CXOs I got to interact with.
Given my current job in a think - tank, how did I end up there?
Seeing my profile, I see that your quant score is low, why is that? Though he himself was trying to justify the score given my background is non-maths, but I answered that I make no excuses, it is low, probably because my preparation was uneven in that field, and speed based objectives testing on maths that is not something close to heart.
They asked the course involved quant, Won't I find it hard or some shii to which I mentioned I had Maths and Bio in school, never shy of a challenge, had Biostats in College, and important for medical research, and my own rigour.
What concept from the medical field could be applied to the business domain? (I talked about history taking and diagnosis vs prescription)
What other calls do you have? (Mentioned) How would you rank them? Ranked IIM SMB as first.
They asked about MBA BA course and whether I am open to that, I said yes but also that I would prefer not to, since I have researched that it is coding heaving and does not align with my career goals and might make me type-cast or niche (to which they seemed to be agreeing to), I want the broad 2 year programme, mentioned some details and wanting a classroom approach, and also mentioned related to the ratings about the flipped classroom approach I would be interested in exploring.
From my justify to company question, I had mentioned some strengths, how have you applied it? Give a real example. Gave them and example of college where I was president with a non-existent student life, and other shi I lead the conversation towards.
Didn't time the interview but must have been 10 or so minutes idk, what do y'all think, how did my interview go?
