Sorry for the long explanation. I just felt like if I'm posting a song in a sub meant for writers that is essentially a cover song, I should explain some of the writing involved.

I made this song a while ago because I love the it and wanted to hear it "ramped up" so I rewrote it with the original lyrics. I don't typically make covers but this was one I had been "hearing" for a while. This isn't just an "upload, change genre and make a cover" generation. The generator I use doesn't allow that, nor would I use it if it did. It's written with the original lyrics, but with additions to them as well as changes to the instrumentals and vocals. I did my best to maintain the same singing pace by using spacing cues: "I tried to-talk to my pee-an-o" for example so it's a "Dah dah da-da dah dah dah-da-da" flow along with detailed instructions in the main [Verse] tag, while trying to match the tempo and time signature of the original.

Long video but I tried to keep it interesting. Lip syncing and timing could be better but it was a "quick" breather as a break from another song I've been working on. It's my version of an imaginary music awards ceremony.

As always, thank you for watching, listening, and reading.

My cover/tribute to Demi Lovato’s Grammy performance of “Anyone.”
