So, for context, I (27F) moved to Alabama from Virginia with my unborn child’s father (25M) due to him being in the coast guard and being stationed in AL. He then broke up with me over text message while he was in Cali for A-School. I had to put whatever could fit in my car by myself and drive home 13hrs to Virginia 7 months pregnant. He never called or texted to check on me or his unborn child. I had no help and no money for a U-Haul, so I had to leave behind a lot of things including all of my kitchen appliances, dishes, pots pans, etc., furniture  like a coffee table, end table, breezeway table, chair and stool, a brand new fireplace I bought two weeks prior to him dumping me, a bed, dresser, and other furniture items (basically a 1BR apartment worth of items). He got back with his wife a week after breaking up with me, and they brought some of my stuff to Virginia today.

Mind you, they only brought what could fit in a trunk of a car. Before, he said he would get a U-Haul, then he said he’d bring me what could fit inside of a car with the seats down, now it’s a trunk. He brought my tv stand, bedside table, my tv, some personal memorabilia from my school days, a bag of shoes, heater, my air fryer (all things i am appreciative of) the thing I’m upset about is that they also threw random crap inside boxes like 4 mugs, ONE bowl, some spatulas, oven mitts, a bag of Aldi’s bags, a dish drain mat (not the dish drain that is also mine), parts to a plunger device that isn’t even mine, a balloon pumper, the bag to my lawn chair (not the chair), a small bag of screws that would come with an Amazon purchase of some sort, a giant stuffed sloth, 4 shot glasses, his robe and other useless items I have no need for. Oh and my old glucose drink for a pregnancy glucose test 🙂 there were other items that were ridiculous as well. That’s what I’m upset about. That’s why I asked him to put my stuff in storage down in Alabama and I’d come get it. I’m just frustrated because he always flips it on me and says it’s my fault I left it and it’s fair they keep it because I left it and he’s just “being nice” by bringing anything at all. So, please tell me AIO/AITAH? Because I am starting to feel bad about how I reacted.
