Do Indian recruiters value freelance RLHF/AI training work?
Hi, I'm looking for some genuine career advice.
I have a background in Life Sciences (Biotech) and have been freelancing in AI data annotation for quite some time now. Apart from basic annotation work, I've been involved in-
- Multimodal Projects: Image-to-Text validation and visual reasoning.
- Adversarial Testing: Intentionally designing prompts to test/fail models and identify hallucinations.
- Quality Assurance & Auditing: Performing multi-tier reviews and rating other reviewers' work (QC/QA).
- Gold Standard Curation: Refining model outputs to create 'Golden Responses' for benchmarking.
- Evaluation Frameworks: Creating rubrics to score pre-launch AI models.
I am now looking to get a permanent role in the biotech/pharma sector. I am also very much interested in Clinical Data Management roles.
-
So, do indian recruiters value freelance work in the AI training field or just see it as a gap-filler?
-
Are there any specific roles in biotech/pharma where this experience is a major plus and highly valued?
-
Also, if there are people from the Clinical Research field- are these skills transferable to CDM roles and would it help me land a job in CDM?
Highly appreciate any insights from people in the industry.
