Dated her for 2 months, but I think it’s over now

Dated a girl I like, kind of long distance, we met once a week for 2 months.

I’m not very experienced at dating.

I’m not the best at kissing.

But she spoke to me nearly everyday for about 2 months, we’ve been on several dates.

One particular date, I got to 2nd base, she asked to “touch me” and I said I was nervous so it didn’t progress further. This was our 2nd last date.

The Last date we went on we hanged out at a festival, and besides kissing there was no further physical intimacy, and I didn’t know how to escalate further. We parked our cars in a very illuminated busy area, and I had to work the next day.

I’ve been on about 6-7 dates with this person now.

She works but recently started a school program.

We texted everyday since we’ve been dating.

Thursday I asked her about doing something this Sunday and she never responded Thursday or Friday.

She’s never waited so long to respond to me before, seems like I’m getting ghosted, I’m pretty sure it’s over at this point.

I’m so disappointed in myself because she was really into me, and I liked her a lot, and she was being patient with me and even escalating. I know it’s my job to do that, but I was moving too slow I guess.

I feel like she was my best chance in having a relationship with somebody who’s my type and I feel like I blew it now.

I dress well, I can have long conversations with this person, she thinks I’m funny. I have a good job, and travel. I’m not ugly. She was practically kissing me and pushing things to next level. But I fucked it up somehow.

And I don’t really expect any other girl to be this into me or this willing to put up with my slow pacing at dating.

I’m starting to think I’m destined to stay single.
