Feel like I'm an egg again in regard to HRT. How to figure out if it's what's right for me?

Advice Question

I was a proper trans egg for a while and I've since come out to myself and my closest people as a trans woman. Life has been better, and since accepting myself I haven't experienced any suicidal ideation or self-hatred as bad as it was before. I'm so glad I came out as trans.

However, now I'm being faced with the HRT question. I can't seem to identify if HRT is right for me or if I'm looking at it with heart eyes because trans women online say it changed their life. In the past I've been very against medical intervention to aid my transition, but for the past 2 months I've thought about HRT every day and the last few days I've cried because I want it so badly.

Did anyone else have this experience? How did you figure out if you wanted it or not? I'd love opinions on both sides if possible (though I know what sub this is lmao).

I'm aware of the pros, cons, risks, benefits, and the specifics of where I live; but how do I know if it's right at all?
